Breaking Patterns. Rewriting Stories. Reclaiming Connection.
This month’s issue dives deep into the hidden patterns that shape our relationships, our families, and even our businesses. From attachment styles and generational wounds to blended family dynamics and financial disagreements, every article opens a window into the behaviours we learn long before we realise they’re learned.
It’s an invitation to look at the stories we’ve been carrying, and to decide which ones we want to keep.

Patterns shape us, but they don’t have to define us.

That’s why Natalie Jane, licensed counsellor and certified relationship coach, created The Relationship Magazine: a safe space to explore the truth of relationships without judgment, offering support you can return to again and again.
Each issue dives into a different theme, from intimacy and boundaries to money and parenting, with expert contributors covering everything from mindset and midlife transitions to somatic healing, burnout prevention, and communication skills.
This isn’t just a magazine. It’s a monthly sanctuary for growth.

Iysha Barrett Morichon
Motherhood Mentor, Soul Midwife & Writer
Iysha Barrett Morichon is a writer, motherhood mentor, somatic and bodywork therapist, exploring how identity and relationships transform through the experience of becoming a mother. Through her work with Anima Maia, she supports women navigating matrescence — the profound psychological, emotional, and relational shift that follows birth. Her writing speaks to the parts of motherhood that are rarely named: identity, intimacy, desire, partnership, and purpose. Her work opens space for a more honest conversation about what motherhood asks of women internally, and how our relationships often need to evolve alongside us.
Rooted in somatic practice and body-based therapy, Iysha weaves together embodiment and spirituality to help mothers reconnect with themselves in the midst of the demands of family life. She understands motherhood as a rite of passage rather than a role to perform, and much of her work centres on helping women listen again to the wisdom of the body, reclaim their inner authority, and meet the deeper questions that motherhood often awakens.
Iysha is the creator of the M.O.T.H.E.R framework, a pathway that guides women through the stages of identity transformation that motherhood can bring. Her work expands the conversation around relationships beyond couples alone, into the relationship a woman holds with herself, her body, her children, her partner, and the life she is shaping. Through writing, mentoring, and embodied practice, she invites mothers to see this season not simply as something to survive, but as a powerful initiation into who they are becoming.
